PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide drain equipment for railway buildings and the drain method for railway buildings requiring no piping above the railroad and offering good workability and a high degree of freedom in layout.;SOLUTION: A vacuum pump 11 sucking drain water by generating a negative pressure almost in a vacuum state by discharging air from the inside of vacuum pipelines 13a, 13b and 13c and a station building drain equipment equipped with a suction controller 14d or the like are used, a vacuum pipeline 13d connected to each facility raises the drain water to a position higher than the ceiling panel 59 of the floor F2 above the railroad of the railway station building 51 and then guides the drain water to a water collecting tank 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
