PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the operation method of a rotary kiln for preventing flame failure of a burner, to provide the rotary kiln for the operation method, to provide the operation method of the rotary kiln for supplying an object to be treated nearly constantly by nearly a fixed amount each time, and to provide the rotary kiln for the operation method.;SOLUTION: In the rotary kiln, the burner and a pipe for supplying the object to be treated are mounted to a front wall, the throwing port of the pipe for supplying the object to be treated is arranged at the inner side of the rotary kiln than the front wall, the object to be treated is thrown from the throwing port to the inside of the rotary kiln by passing through the inside of the pipe for supplying the object to be treated, and at the same time flame is discharged from the tip of the burner to the inside of the rotary kiln.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
