EXAMINATION PAPER MARKING PROCESSING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an examination paper marking processing system in which entry operations can be simply and correctly performed and whose cost is low.;SOLUTION: Since the inputting of correct answers or incorrect answers can be performed only by pressing question numbers 23 of respective answer columns with an input pen 9 while confirming the inputting by sound signals or by the number of pressings, software for recognizing and processing correct answers and wrong answers becomes simple and, as a result, an inexpensive examination paper marking processing system can be provided. In this system, it is possible to print correct-answer expressions ○ and incorrect-answer expressions × in respective answer columns of an actually answered paper 21 and to print correct-answer expressions ○ in correct- answer columns of the respective answer columns of the paper 21 and to print correct- answer contents 24 or a comment 25 such as review pages of a textbook corresponding to the incorrect answers in the case of incorrect answers. Moreover, in the system, results of the marking can be converted to a database by calculating the standard deviation, ranking and the average mark and, also, centralized control can be performed by connecting plural sets of examination paper marking systems and a host computer with the Internet communication means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
