PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel mental arithmetic learning support system which enables learners to meticulously deal with learning environment according to their ability, etc., and to efficiently carry out learning of mental arithmetic on the abacus.;SOLUTION: This mental arithmetic learning support system is operated by a mental arithmetic learning support 1 having an input device 2 which inputs learner information, question information, answer information, etc., an arithmetic processor 3 which receives the information from this input device 2, includes a true-false decision function of the cumulative total answer values inputted by the learners and has a function to display one or ≥2 contents in an output device 4 and the output device 4 which can output a mental arithmetic question display, abacus live bead image display, correct answer display, etc. The system is constituted to successively change and display the abacus live bead images by accompanying the progression of the steps to be calculated of the mental arithmetic questions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
