SOLUTION: This device includes a request receiving part 401 which receives a print request, a print image production part 404a which produces a print image of the document to be printed, a staple image adding part 404b and a punch image adding part 404c which add the images of a staple and a punched hole to the print image respectively in accordance with the bookbinding method that is designated by the print request and an electronic mail transmitting part 406 which attaches the print image having the added staple and punched hole images to an electronic mail and transmits this mail to a requester. It is also possible to set the print image on the WWW server of a dealer and to notify a customer of only a URL of the print image by an electronic mail.
