PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To open or close a radial gate by increasing or decreasing the water weight of a water weight container in response to the fluctuation in water level at the upstream side of a water channel.;SOLUTION: A radial gate 1 opening or closing a water channel 2 is installed toward the upstream side 2a of the water channel, an upstream side water chamber 10, a downstream side water chamber 11 and a float chamber 12 are provided, a float 15 is provided in the float chamber 12, which moves upward or downward by following the fluctuation of the water level in the predetermined water level range, an overflow water conveyance tube 13b having an overflow hole 13 moving up or down in response to the up and down motions of the float 15 is provided, a water weight 14 having a water chamber inside the downstream side water chamber 11 is provided, one end of a flexible conveyance tube 14a is connected to the bottom portion of the water weight 14, the other end is connected to the overflow water conveyance tube 13b, and a drain throttle portion 14b is provided at the bottom portion of the water weight 14.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
