PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem with a method for displaying a time table by a time table display device for a public transportation means functioning as a WWW server on today's Internet that a user calculates a time until a displayed departure time of the public transportation and considers the time and, to display the time table on the screen of a terminal of a cellphone or a personal computer, the user selects or inputs the name of the public transportation means, the name of a station, diagram, and a time to be used every time the time table is used.;SOLUTION: In this time table display device for the public transportation means functioning as the WWW server on the Internet, the convenience of the user is increased and the use of the public transportation means is improved by displaying the time table for the public transportation means as well as how many minutes later the departure time of the used public transportation means comes from the present time. Since the name of the public transportation means on which the user gets on, name of station, diagram, and time information are set once and the contents of the set information are stored in a WWW address, and in the second use and on, the time table can be displayed without setting additional conditions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
