GROUNDING-RESISTANCE REDUCING AGENT AND GROUNDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which is used for protecting a transmission line or any of various electrical and telecommunication device from lightning troubles and gives low grounding resistance and excellent durability of the protection effect. SOLUTION: This grounding-resistance reducing agent contains cement, clay, gypsum, an electrolyte component and a high-range water reducing agent, wherein: as the cement, for example, portland cement is used, however, any other cement can be used provided that it has a 2,000-4,500 cm2 /g Blaine specific surface area and =100 m particle size; as the clay, powdery metakaolinite or coal ash is used; as the electrolyte component, an alkali chloride, alkali sulfate, or the like, is used; and the high-range water reducing agent is used for securing flowability of the agent even when the mix proportion of water is low. This grounding method involves: placing a ground rod 1, a pipe 3 and an injection hose 4 in a hole 2; and injecting the grounding-resistance reducing agent through the injection hose 4 into the hole 2 by using an injection machine 5, to densely fill the inside of the hole 2 with the agent from the lower part side of the hole 2 and also, through a number of holes of the pipe 3.
