PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing form which has a higher added value and is easy for a user to access various information, and furthermore realize a user friendly information providing form to a map display system which allows the user to easily set a desired destination.;SOLUTION: The information providing form is provided with a storage means 21 provided with an image file storage area 21a for storing image files which can determine facilities and a location information storage area 21c storing location information of the facilities, a communication means 22 with an external device, and a processing means 23 for controlling the operation of each means. The processing means 23 has a step for reading the image file from the image file storage area 21a, a step for reading the location information corresponding to the facility that is indicated by the image file from the location information storage area 21c, and a step for burying the read-out location information of the facility into the image file representing the corresponding facility to generate an information image of the facility.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
