PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide getting on/off guidance method and system capable of guiding smooth and correct getting on/off a vehicle by monitoring the tendency of each passenger by utilizing a portable storage means carried by the passenger and informing the passenger of a getting on/off guide from a center device and a recording medium recording the program.;SOLUTION: When a passenger tries to get on a bus, a destination and reference information including passenger specification information out of getting on/off scheduling information to be inputted to a data processing communication device 5 are written in a passenger's IC card 1. A center device 11 receives getting on/off guide information request transmitted together with the getting on/off scheduling information, presents getting on/off guide information corresponding to the getting on/off scheduling information to the passenger, and at the time of receiving getting on detection information when the passenger gets on the vehicle, presents getting on guide information to the passenger.
