PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating the spring characteristics at a part subjected to bending in which a more accurate spring design can be effected and a material having more excellent machinability can be selected when a load acts on the bending part in the unbending direction.;SOLUTION: In the method for evaluating the spring characteristics at a part of a connection terminal subjected to bending, an elongated planar sample 18 having a corresponding part 18a subjected to bending at an intermediate part is deformed gradually in a direction for increasing the inside angle of the corresponding bending part 18a by applying a load thereto in the unbending direction. Displacement and reaction are measured in the loading direction and spring characteristics at the bending part of a corresponding connection terminal are evaluated from the relation between the displacement and reaction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
