PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone that allows a user to grasp a revision according to a revision result notified from a transmission destination after transmitting a character message to inform the telephone number of a telephone directory stored in a memory of the mobile phone about revision of the number when its own mobile phone number is changed.;SOLUTION: The mobile phone that can revise its stored telephone number on the basis of a received telephone number revision notice at a revision notice receiver side is provided with a revision result transmission means that revises the telephone number on the basis of a received telephone number revision notice and returns the result of revision to a sender of the telephone number revision notice by using a character message, and the mobile phone at a revision notice sender is provided with a means that receives the revision result and displays it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
