ARTIFICIAL POSTERIOR TOOTH UNIT AND COMPLETE DENTAL PROSTHESIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce an occlusal state balanced in every moving directions including the formation of a smile line adjusted to the standard, using an artificial posterior tooth unit formed by reconfigurating molar teeth and premolar teeth of upper and lower jaws, respectively as the natural facet posterior teeth having the occlusal relation approximate to the natural teeth, and combining them into a set regarding the artificial posterior teeth for a prosthesis used for the manufacture of a denture.;SOLUTION: This artificial posterior tooth unit comprises a natural facet posterior tooth block element X1 for the upper jaw and a natural facet posterior tooth block element X2 for the lower jar formed by the individual molding and block arrangement of the molar teeth and premolar teeth of the upper and lower jaws whose facet (the tooth cusp angle) or occlusal wear form and the spee curve or arranged state are photographed and/or reproduced or adjusted with a natural row of teeth as a master model. The complete dental prosthesis is manufactured using the artificial posterior tooth unit with the facet of an expansion angle of about 150°.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
