PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extinguisher for a mosquito-repellent incense stick enabling the incense stick to be put out immediately and easily when it becomes unnecessary.;SOLUTION: This extinguisher comprises a hook 11, a support piece 12 horizontally attached to the lower end of the hook 11 and a falling-preventive piece 13 extending from the rim of the support piece 12 upward. The extinguisher is mounted on a mosquito-repellent incense stick tray by fitting the hook 11 onto the side plate 3 of the tray. In this state, a lit mosquito-repellent incense stick 10 is placed on a mat 5 and capped with a cover 6. When the incense stick 10 becomes unnecessary despite being used incompletely, the lit tip of the incense stick 10 is laid on the support piece 12 and because of high thermal conductivity of the support piece 12, the heat of the lit tip is absorbed into the support piece 12, resulting in extinguishing of the incense stick 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
