PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an air conditioning operation to be carried out even during a heat accumulating operation and to prevent cold water from being freezed by a heat exchanger even in the case that a leakage occurs in an adjusting valve in a path extending up to a water heat exchanger during a heat accumulating operation at night. ;SOLUTION: This ice heat accumulating type freezer unit is operated such that in the case that heat is accumulated in an ice heat accumulating tank 2 and brine is cooled in the ice heat accumulating tank 2, the brine is fed to a water heat exchanger 3 to take out a cooling capability. There is provided a brine passage having a brine pump 7 connected to it to cause the brine to flow from a brine outlet passage of the water heat exchanger 3 to a brine inlet passage. There are provided a cold water temperature sensor S1 in a cold water outlet side passage of the water heat exchanger 3 and a brine temperature sensor S2 in a brine inlet side passage of the water heat exchanger 3. There is also provided a control device 12 for controlling an operation of the brine pump 7 for use in flowing the brine from the brine outlet port side passage in the water heat exchanger 3 to the brine inlet side passage and a stopping of operation of the brine pump 7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
