PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a method for measuring the water-absorption property of a lightweight aggregate under such a condition that the lightweight aggregate is pressurized and to provide a technology related to a lightweight concrete composition excellent in the pump press feed property.;SOLUTION: This lightweight concrete composition is constituted by using the lightweight aggregate having an absorption ratio under pressure H of ≤15 vol.%, where H is expressed by the equation: H=(W2/W1)×100, wherein, W2 (ml) is the water-absorption amount of the lightweight aggregate when the lightweight aggregate is pressurized to 0.5 to 8 MPa in water and W1 (ml) is the volume of the lightweight aggregate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
