PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing method which is capable of easily sealing the interior of stainless steel piping and welding the piping by surely shutting off leak water, if generated, in the piping and filling the interior of the piping with inert gas and equipment for the same as well as a welding method for the stainless steel piping and equipment for the same.;SOLUTION: The sealing method comprising; mounting a flexible tube of a hollow structure into the piping; installing an inner ring for holding pressure to the inner peripheral side of this tube in a manner as to prevent the tube from spreading to the inner peripheral side by the pressure of the gas filled into the tube; and isolating the one side in the piping from the atmosphere by filling the gas into the tube and the equipment for the same, in which the stainless steel pipes as the piping are sealed by the sealing method described above or the equipment for the same in butt welding of these pipes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
