PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine capable of improving testicular disorder and recovering spermatogenesis/fertility and much useful for preventing/treating male infertility.;SOLUTION: The preventive/therapeutic agent for testicular disorder especially for the testicular disorder caused by medicinal injury or anti-cancer therapy is obtained by containing HST-1/FGF-4 or HST-1/FGF-4 expression vector as the active ingredient, another objective conditional transgenic animal is obtained by being introduced the vector, at least in target tissues, capable of temporally specifically or testicularly specifically expressing HTS-1/FGF-4, and another objective method for deciding a tissue disorder whether the HTS-1/ FGF-4 is effective therefor or not is obtained by using the transgenic animal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
