PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice automatic reply unit that can prevent secret information from being known even when a speech using a public line network is intercepted.;SOLUTION: The voice automatic reply unit that sets up a speech line with a public line network to make an automatic reply to a telephone set, is provided with a voice reply means that uses voice data stored in advance to make questions and answers with the telephone set, a scramble tone generating means that generates a push tone to randomize a number of a pushbutton only for awaiting a reply from the telephone set in response to an instruction from the voice reply means thereby distributing a scramble tone to a speech line, and a voice separation means that receives a voice signal resulting from synthesizing the push tone and the scrambled tone outputted from the telephone set and extracts the push tone outputted from the telephone set based on the scramble tone generated by the scramble tone generating means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
