PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic voice reply method and an automatic voice reply system, and a telephone set for configuring this system capable of shortening a time from operation start by a user until the user hears a reply voice finally delivered from an automatic voice reply apparatus.;SOLUTION: The automatic voice reply method uses the automatic voice reply apparatus to deliver voice through a telephone line in response to a request of a user of the telephone set. This method displays an operation method guide menu to guide an operation method required for the user to hear the voice in response to the request of the user to a display means of the telephone set. Then during the display of the operation method guide menu, after a telephone line between the telephone set and the automatic voice reply apparatus is established, the telephone set transmits an operation particularizing signal to particularize operation contents operated by the user to the automatic voice reply apparatus.
