PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifouling coating composition capable of forming coating film having excellent antifouling effect against coelenterates including hydrozoans and aquatic organisms including seaweeds and high in storage stability as well, and to provide an antifouling method for fishing gears/fishnets and underwater constructs using the composition.;SOLUTION: This antifouling coating composition comprises (A) zinc bisdimethyldithiocarbamoylethylenebisdithiocarbamate, (B) a (meth)acrylate resin, (C) a polyether silicone with a number-average molecular weight of 500-20,000 and (D) a monobasic acid or a metal salt thereof with a molecular weight of ≥250.
