PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a sufficient distance between paper sheets and to perform running of a paper sheet with stability.;SOLUTION: A CPU 11 feeds paper sheets by operating a pick clutch ON/ OFF signal 15 and a feed motor ON/OFF signal 16 through an internal bus 12. A paper sheets counter starts after the paper sheet passes a paper detecting sensor 14 and a distance between the paper sheets is set in terms of a time. Further, the CPU 11 decides the conveying state of the paper sheet from passage information of the paper sheet from the paper detecting sensor 14, and through an output clutch 13, the CPU 11 controls a feed motor ON/OFF signal 16 to rotate and stop a feed roller and a pick clutch ON/OFF signal 15 to rotate and stop a pick roller through an output latch 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
