PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hygienic functional apparatus preventing a hand from direct contact with a container of a western style toilet bowl in lilting/lowering a lid and a toilet seat of the toilet bowl.;SOLUTION: An apparatus operation part is arranged on a lid upper part, and the apparatus is installed removably for a hygienic purpose, so that cleaning work such as washing with water is facilitated and installation to an existing toilet for use is allowed. On the functional phase, two kind of usage such as operation for lifting/lowering the lid and that for simultaneously lifting/lowering the lid and the toilet seat together can be switched with a single finger tip by means of a single apparatus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
