PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnet roller 3, in which both the magnetic force of each pole and the magnetic force in an interspace W between repulsive poles, can be set substantially as designed, the magnetic-force characteristic in the interspace W between the repulsive poles is flat, the magnetic force in the interspace W between the repulsive poles can be made small, and the polarity of the magnetic force in the interspace W between the repulsive poles will not invert from N to S or vice versa.;SOLUTION: A magnet piece 1 is arranged to be fixed in the interspace W, formed between two magnet pieces arranged on the outer periphery of a shaft of the magnet roller, in such a way as to mutually separate side faces of the two semicircular magnetic pieces, where the magnet piece 1 is for adjusting the magnetic force in the interspace between the repulsive poles, has the magnetic poles of a same polarity respectively on both side faces adjoining the inner peripheral face from among the stick-shaped longitudinal faces, and has a magnetic pole that is opposite to those magnetic poles established on the both side faces on the inner peripheral side face.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
