PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al alloy sheet suitable for high speed forming, its production, and a high speed forming method. ;SOLUTION: This Al alloy sheet for high speed forming has a composition containing (by mass, the same applies to the following) 0.75-0.95% Mg, 0.45-0.95% Si, and 1.3-1.7% Cu as essential elements, containing one or more kinds among 0.02-2.0% Mn, 0.02-0.5% Cr, 0.02-0.3% Zr, and 0.003-0.2% Ti, further containing 0-1.0% Zn, containing ≤0.5% Fe as an impurity, and having the balance essentially Al. At this time, as the characteristics of this sheet, elongation is ≥30% in the tensile test of ≥5×10^-2s^-1 strain rate and also (tensile strength)²/(0.2% proof stress)≥480(MPa) is satisfied.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
