PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image information transmitting method or the like by which manufacture is remarkably facilitated and miniaturization is realized compared with a color image transmitting device of a conventional fiber system by correctly matching positions among a color image displaying element surface or a color image pickup element surface and respective light guides.;SOLUTION: When a color image which is displayed on the color image displaying element is transmitted through the color image transmitting device, light is made incident by not making respective light guides 5 correspond to every color such as, for example, R, G and B, but making respective light guides 5 correspond to every minimum composing unit 31 which can be displayed with color such as RGB. Thus, the number of the light guides 5 is reduced and the color image transmitting device is very easily manufactured. At this time, when diameters of the light guides 5 are constant, a thickness of the color image transmitting device is thinned.
