PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a customer analysis system in which customers can be analyzed so as to more effectively perform sales promotion to the customers by grasping the temporal transition of a customer rank from the past customers buying results data, etc., and to provide a customer managing method.;SOLUTION: This customer analysis system is provided with a customer database 110, a customer segmenting means 102 for ranking a customer at the point of certain time by performing some analysis from the past buying results of the customer at the point of that time, a rank transition analyzing means 101 for presenting analysis results obtained from data at the present time as a table or a graph to an analyst, receiving a specific rank selected by the analyst, further classifying customers belonging to the rank according to a customer rank obtained as the result of analyzing data at the point of certain past time and displaying the customers, and a customer list outputting means 103 for outputting a list of names of a specific customer group in a list by referring to the customer database on the basis of the analysis results of the customer segmenting means and/or the rank transition analyzing means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
