A customer data collection device generates first image data by picking up an image of a customer heading to a specific commodity display shelf (for example, a specific commodity display shelf or a space located at a checkout counter for displaying commodities), and generates second image data by picking up an image of a customer who has purchased a commodity at a checkout counter.  The customer data collection device transmits the first image data and the second image data to a customer analysis device.  The customer analysis device analyzes the first image data and the second image data, and selects a face image of a customer which appears in the first image data but does not appear in the second image data.
