PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm sound reporting device capable of automatically judging what happens practically when an alarm sound occurs and reporting its meaning to a user.;SOLUTION: The alarm sound information and converted sound information of apparatuses (alarm sound sources 1, 2, 3) subject to monitoring and sent via the Internet 10 is stored in the storage device 7 of an information terminal 8 such as a personal computer, and the information is further sent to a reporting device 6. The alarm sound analyzing means 4 of the reporting device receives alarm sounds from the apparatuses subject to monitoring, analyzes the sounds, and outputs alarm sound information, and the corresponding sound information is outputted from a report generating means 5.
