NEW STRAIN, METHOD FOR CULTURING OR CULTIVATING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a Lyophyllum ulmarium new strain, and to provide a method for culturing or cultivating the strain.;SOLUTION: The Lyophyllum ulmarium new strain is such one that no zone line is formed with a new strain selected from 9 kinds of new strains and the bitterness of the fruiting body obtained by cultivation in a medium of enhanced bitterness is scarcely sensed or less for at least one medium of enhanced bitterness. The method comprises inoculating the above new strain in a medium to culture the mycelia or cultivate the fruiting body. Wherein, the medium of enhanced bitterness means such a medium that the bitterness of the fruiting body obtained by artificial cultivation of Lyophyllum ulmarium Lu 1-2 (FERM P-12584) represents at least a determination of 'bitter' by sensory test. This new strain can afford Lyophyllum ulmarium fruiting body and mycelia of reduced bitterness in high yield.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
