PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rational construction method for preventing liquefaction whereby a subsoil supporting an existing building can be solidified up to a required range using a highly reliable method without requiring large-scale construction work.;SOLUTION: The construction method comprises a process for heating the liquefied subsoil of the existing building, a process for dissolving a solidifying material which is liquefied at the application of heat and is solid at room temperature, such as paraffin, to cause the material to infiltrate the liquefied subsoil, and a process for solidifying the liquefied subsoil after cooling.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
