PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone rubber composite material with a content gradient having no adhesion interface and with its composition continuously changing.;SOLUTION: This silicone rubber composite material with a content gradient is a composite material made of a silicone rubber and another polymer wherein the composition changes continuously from the surface to the inside, or from one surface to the other of the composite material. The proportion of the silicone rubber component may be reduced continuously from the surface to the inside or from one surface to the other of the composite material. A silicone rubber is put into a solution containing a monomer component. The monomer component is allowed to permeate into the silicone rubber by virtue of swelling of the silicone rubber. The silicone rubber composite material with a content gradient can be obtained by polymerizing the silicone rubber containing the monomer component during or after subjecting the monomer component to evaporation in the open air or under a reduced pressure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
