PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for forming a photocatalyst layer having a moderate porosity and excellent transparency and film properties while maintaining an excellent photocatalyst activity and to provide a method for producing the composition, to obtain a photocatalyst supporting blind and to provide a method for producing the photocatalyst supporting blind and a method for preventing the blind from being odorized.;SOLUTION: This composition for forming the photocatalyst layer comprising a powder or a sol of a photocatalyst, a metal oxide sol or a metal hydroxide sol and a silane represented by general formula (1): Si(Cl)n1(OH)n2(R1)n3(R2)n4(OR3)n5 (wherein, R1 denotes a 2C or a 3C alkenyl group; R2 and R3 denote each an alkyl group which may have a substituent group; n1, n2, n4 and n5 denote each 0 or an integer of 1-3; and n3 denotes 1 or 2) dissolved or dispersed in a solvent. The method for producing the composition is provided. The photocatalyst supporting blind has the photocatalyst layer formed from the composition for forming the photocatalyst layer through an adhesive layer on the surface of a slat and the method for producing the photocatalyst supporting blind is provided.
