PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method capable of avoiding clogging of a pipe caused by viscosity change of high concentration slurry of fly ash caused by property change of the fly ash due to change of a kind of coal at ordinary operation of equipment for conveying the high concentration slurry of fly ash.;SOLUTION: The fly ash stored in an ash disposal silo 1 is supplied to a stirring tank 4 through a fly ash supply device 2. The fly ash generated in coal-fired boiler facility is mixed with water with the usage of a stirrer 5 in the stirring tank 4. Thus produced high concentration slurry of fly ash is conveyed to a coal disposal area 9 for landfilling. A differential pressure measurement device 7 is provided on a horizontal part of a transfer pipe 8 of the high concentration slurry of fly ash. The differential pressure value measured by the differential pressure measurement device 7 is fed-back to a water supply amount control device 10 is order to control a water supply amount. Thus, the water concentration in the high concentration slurry of fly ash is automatically adjusted and the differential pressure value is maintained in a predetermined value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
