PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a thin frozen slice (for example, having the thickness of 2 μm) usable for research of life science (for example, histological research, histochemical research, enzymatic histochemical research, immuno-histochemical research, genetic histochemical research, internal distribution research of water-soluble material, and biochemical analysis) from a hard tissue (a bone or a tooth) to which deashing processing is not applied by chemicals or a large biosample (for example, having a sliced surface of 4 cm×5 cm), and to preserve the dyed slice. SOLUTION: A pressure sensitive adhesive plastic film manufactured by a pressure sensitive adhesive 34 and a plastic film 35 as a support material for supporting the frozen slice is stuck on a prescribed surface of a frozen embedded block 5, in order to manufacture the frozen slice having the thickness of 2-10 μm usable for the research of the life science from the frozen hard tissue or the large biosample, and slicing is executed by a prescribed new blade 9, to thereby obtain the frozen slice. Then, the pressure sensitive adhesive plastic film on which the slice is stuck is stuck on a transparent glass plate 43 on which a water-soluble mounting agent 42 is applied, and the frozen slice is preserved between the pressure sensitive adhesive plastic film and the transparent glass plate 43.
