PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select many kinds of various gifts at one's own pace while staying home almost without time restrictions and the difficulty of operations unlike conventional counter system, member shop system and electronic catalog mail- order system.;SOLUTION: This method is for exchanging points acquired by a player in a game hall with the gifts at a shop 2 taking orders by access from a communication terminal 9 for an individual. A control center 3 for controlling the points for the respective players is provided, the remaining points of the player himself/herself are inquired from the shop 2 which takes the order to the control center 3 on the basis of the order of gift exchange from the player and it is confirmed that there are the remaining points of the person oneself corresponding to a charge for the gift of an exchange object prior to the provision of the gift. Thus, the gifts are exchanged on the Internet and the player is relieved from human pressures by clerks in charge inside the game hall and the other players, etc., time pressures when the shop is about to be closed or the like and the inexperienced operation to a terminal installed in the game hall.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
