PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-floating type slide guide mechanism of a machine tool capable of preventing a moving member from tilting.;SOLUTION: A slide member 14 is bonded to a guide plate 13 provided on a bed 2 of the machine tool 1 and a column 12 movable for the bed 2, and holding parts 15a, 15b as bearing pockets for holding lubricating oil are provided on a slide member slide face 14a of the slide member 14 to supply lubricating oil to the holding parts 15a, 15b from a lubricating oil supply source 22 through restriction valves 16a, 16b. Lubricating oil is supplied between a guide plate slide face 13a of the guide plate 13 and the slide member slide face 14a to move the column 12 in a semi-floating condition. A center of gravity position 30 of the column 12 has an eccentric load on a front end 12a side of the column 12, and each degree of opening of the restriction valves 16a, 16b is set in accordance with each area of the holding parts 15a, 15b. Consequently, a pressure of lubricating oil stored in the holding parts 15a, 15b is adjusted to compensate the inclination of the column 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
