PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform optimum thermal displacement correction corresponding to a wide rotating speed range by permitting the easy change of thermal displacement correcting coefficients on a NC machining program.;SOLUTION: A variable range of a spindle rotating speed is parted into a plurality of rotating speed ranges and the thermal displacement correcting coefficients different in the rotating speed ranges are preset as system parameters for a machine. A function instruction for changing values for the thermal displacement correcting coefficients is made as a user macroinstruction for adjusting the thermal displacement correcting coefficients in the rotating speed ranges and a user macroinstruction calling instruction is incorporated in the machining program. In the process of executing the machining program, the user macroinstruction is called and executed as required whereby the thermal displacement correcting coefficients are changed into correct values.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
