EQUIPMENT FOR COMBUSTION COMPLETION IN WASTE INCINERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for combustion completion in which ember of incineration ash discharged from the incinerator is completely burned, clinker is prevented from becoming massive, discharge of incineration ash is facilitated, and burnout of parts is prevented.;SOLUTION: Main ember-burning is accelerated by supplying main combustion air M to a step brick 1, draft holes 21, 32, and 51 for supplying combustion air H and cooling fins 22, 36, and 52 are provided respectively to an inclined hearth board 2, a reversed fire-grate 3, and a protection board 5 to prevent burnout and deterioration of essential parts. Falling-off of combustion ash A by its own weight is surely prevented by setting a gap G between the tip end 27 of the board 2 and the tip end 38 of the grate 3 to 200-250 mm. A clinker crusher 23 is allowed to automatically advance/retreat to prevent the clinker from becoming massive.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
