PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quicken the drying and improve the drying efficiency, by arranging the constitution so that the quantity of far infrared ray to be applied to the circulating grain, in a grain drier equipped with a far infrared ray radiator.;SOLUTION: In a grain drier which is equipped with a far infrared ray radiator, the upper halves of the openings 3a and 3a at each bottom of a grain down flow paths 3 and 3 are opened toward the topside of a rotating shutter 10, whereby it is put in such condition that the grain having passed the grain down flow paths 3 and 3 overflows to the topside of the rotating shutter 10 and exists always as a grain layer G accumulated in on the top of the rotating shutter 10, and that it is let out in order by the rotating shutter 10 from the down side of the grain layer G, and it is arranged such that the far infrared ray generated by the far infrared ray radiator 7 arranged within a hot blast chamber 4 is applied directly at all times to this grain layer G.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
