OPTICALLY ACTIVE ASPARAGINE ESTER DERIVATIVE, OPTICALLY ACTIVE 3-AMINOPYROLIDINE-2,5-DIONE DERIVATIVE AND OPTICALLY ACTIVE 3-AMINOPYRROLIDINE DERIVATIVE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an asparagine ester derivative, a 3-aminopyrrolidine-2,5- dione derivative and a 3-aminopyrrolidine derivative having a high optical purity from inexpensive raw materials by a small number of processes in a high optical purity in a high yield.;SOLUTION: An optically active N-acylaspartic acid is reacted with an alcohol to produce the optically active asparagine ester derivative in which the derivative is esterified and the N-acyl group is deprotected simultaneously. The product is further subjected to ring formation to produce an optically active 1-substituted-3-aminopyrrolidine-2,5-dione derivative. The derivative is further reduced to give an optically active 1-substituted-aminopyrrolidine derivative. The derivative is further subjected to hydrogenolysis to give an optically active 3-aminopyrrolidine.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
