PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To subject a dual phase NiAl-X alloy to plastic working by utilizing internal stress superplasticity.;SOLUTION: An NiAl-X alloy (X is Cr or Mo) is heat-treated into a dual phase structure in which spherical Cr or Mo is dispersed into a matrix, and plastic deformation is progressed during the addition of a heat cycle to exhibit an internal stress superplasticity phenomenon. The heat cycle is added by performing heating and cooling at the heating and cooling rate of 1 to 20°C/sec. As the NiAl-X alloy, the one containing Cr (33±4%) or Mo (9±2 atomic %) of an eutectic composition is used for obtaining the dual phase structure in which spherical particles are dispersed by annealing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
