PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of an aluminate fluorescent substance in a manufacturing process for a fluorescent lamp for increase in lamp efficiency.;SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing an aluminate fluorescent substance using a compound at least including an alkali earth metal excluding magnesium, a compound including europium, a compound including magnesium and a compound including aluminum as raw materials, the atomic molar ratio of the sum of the mole numbers of magnesium and manganese to the sum of the europium and the alkali earth metal excluding magnesium in the all raw material compounds is set at 1.06-1.09.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
