PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bovine ES-like cell that has pluripotency and is capable of being subcultured in an anaplastic state for a long period, and to provide a method for establish the cell.;SOLUTION: The 1st objective method for establishing a bovine ES-like cell comprising the steps of isolating the founder ES-like cell by culturing an embryoblast of a bovine blastodermic vesicle on a mouse embryonic fibroblast feeder layer, and subculturing the founder ES-like cell on a plate coated with a protein of an extracellular matrix is provided.
