PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of evaluating aprotinin sensitivity characteristics by determining the aprotinin sensitivity of an improved activated clotting time agent and a different activating agent which provide reaction without variations for anticoagulant heparin regardless of the presence or absence of an aprotinin agent.;SOLUTION: This method is a coagulating method for measuring the activated clotting time(ACT) of blood in the presence of heparin which provides test results without substantial sensitivity to the aprotinin agent. Celite and bentonite are simultaneously used to be the activating agent. ATC results obtained by the activating agent are the same as the results of celite ACT test performed on heparinized blood and are not affected by aprotinin. The method is also a method for determining the aprotinin action of a different ACT activating agent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
