PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cast slab and a steel material working this cast slab with which the internal defects, such as internal crack, center segregation, center porosity, are restrained and the internal defect generated in the steel material applying the working, such as rolling, is reduced by providing the fine and uniform solidification structure.;SOLUTION: Into molten steel 12 having γ-Fe of the solidified primary crystal, inclusion having ≤7% lattice strain with the γ-Fe, is contained, and the molten steel 12 is cooled and solidified.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
