METHOD FOR CORROSION-PREVENTIVE SURFACE TREATMENT, AND STEEL MATERIAL SURFACE-TREATED FOR CORROSION PROTECTION AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for anticorrosion surface treatment which quickly forms a stabilized rust layer on the surface of a steel material in the environment where chlorides come flying, and to provide the steel material surface- treated for corrosion protection and its use.;SOLUTION: The surface of the steel material is coated with a resin coating material containing 0.03-12 mass% of CO32-, or a resin coating material containing 0.1-10 mass% of nickel sulfide, 0.01-12 mass% of CO32- and 10-40 mass% of a butyral resin or of a resin comprising a mixture of the butyral resin and its compatible resin, each based on the solid content of the coating material. This steel material so surface-treated for corrosion protection can be utilized not only ion the atmospheric environment but also as a steel material for reinforcing concrete and as a steel material for underground laying structures.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
