PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface card which makes it possible to select an interface where the IFC can operate and make it operate by allowing a main device to detect the IFC being fixed in the main device and an interface cable for other devices correctly being connected and fixed, an interface-card adaptive device, an interface-card adaptive system, an interface switching method, and a storage medium.;SOLUTION: The IFC is equipped with an interface connector PCIFA 3 for a computer A, an interface connector PCIFB 5 for the computer A which is exclusively used to the PCIFA 3, a female connector 4 for a serial I/F A which is selected and controlled to communicate with a computer B when the PCIFA 3 is used, and a female connector 6 for a serial I/F B which communicates with the computer B when the PCIFB 5 is used.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
