PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the performance degradation of a distributed system even if the speed of a line coupling between distributed platform modules for linking applications is low.;SOLUTION: CORBA gateways 4-1 and 4-2 which are provided for the mutual sending/receiving of messages between CORBA modules 3-1 and 3-2 linking programs 2-1 to 2-6, corresponding to the CORBA modules 3-1 and 3-2, have a modification means which modifies a part of the first protocol defined in the case of communicating of the CORBA modules 3-1 and 3-2 to prepare messages of smaller redundancy than the first protocol, and a restoration means for performing processing inverse to the processing of the modification means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
