PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater/cooler for a beverage wherein housed water can be taken out by a natural flowing down without taking air into a water tank, and the propagation of germs and the growth of mold do not occur, and which cane be hygienically used.;SOLUTION: On the uppermost section of a device main body 1, the water tank 2 is detachably arranged. For this water heater/cooler for the beverage, a water heating/hot water-feeding system 4 and a water cooling/cool water- feeding system 5 are incorporated with the device main body. In this case, the water heating/hot water-feeding system 4 heats and takes out water which naturally flows down from the water tank. The water cooling/cool water-feeding system 5 cools and takes out water which naturally flows down from the water tank.
